The 1st Battalion - 14th Infantry Regiment

Tatoo Art

This first tatoo is on my left bicep. I call it
"My 19 year old heart with Uncle Sam's knife going through it".

This signifies my young person going to Vietnam, and dying,
and someone different coming home. The handle is made up
of my (CIB) Combat Infantryman's Badge... with the years
I spent in Nam on each side of it.  The bullet in the handle
signifies the M-16 bullet, and on the top of the handle is the
Army Air Medal... a real cool looking medal with an eagle in
a diving attack move, with lightning bolts in each talon.
Unfortunately, this was too much detail for that part
of the tattoo.
