Fort William D. Davis
Life as a "Dragon Brat"

The children of Ft. Davis rode regimental horses, both for entertainment and as an aid
to give the horses their required exercise.
 

John Gates with a soldier named "Mixer", who is remembered as having won the DSC in WWI, while fighting in France.


A daughter of the Regiment appeared in the 72 Organization Day Program over the caption
"A daughter of a famous regiment holds it's Coat of Arms".
